Founder Story: Harsh Verma - Building Skygaze India and Aardo Solutions

““If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that dreams don’t wait for perfect conditions—they demand the courage to fight through uncertainty. Entrepreneurship is all about experimenting and evolving; if one thing fails, rise and work on the next.””
— A Message from the Founder, Harsh
Every story of creation begins with a choice. For Harsh, standing at a crossroads in 2023, the choice was between the stable, paved road of a corporate job and the uncharted wilderness of entrepreneurship. For a young man from a lower-middle-class family, raised by a single mother, everyone advised the safe route.
Harsh chose the wilderness.
His journey began not in a boardroom, but in the humble confines of his home. Armed with BCA and MCA degrees and the weight of family responsibility, he had a dream but no map. "I had no idea how to even register a company," Harsh recalls. "The path was completely dark."
Juggling a 9-to-5 developer job to support his family and fund his dream, he spent his nights building his vision. In early 2024, he gathered a small team of passionate youngsters to create Aardo Solutions, conceptualizing powerful IT products. For six grueling months, they coded, designed, and hustled, pouring every spare hour and rupee into the venture.
Then came the brutal lessons. After building a brand for six months, they discovered their name was unusable at registration. Their new name, "Aardo Solutions," faced its own trial by fire: the GST application was rejected three times for unknown reasons, draining their non-existent funds. "It felt like the system was designed to make you quit," Harsh says.
But quitting was never an option. After countless hurdles, Aardo Solutions was officially incorporated, but it was starving. With no funding and a hyper-competitive market, finding clients was a monumental challenge. With his back against the wall, Harsh looked up.
A lifelong passion for space science, a hobby he’d considered an inaccessible luxury, sparked an idea. He took a risk, buying a mid-range telescope on his credit card and setting it up on his rooftop. The wonder in the eyes of friends and neighbors who came to observe ignited a new possibility. This was the birth of Skygaze India.
The launch was met with two months of silence. Then, the universe sent a sign. In February, a planetary parade became a trending phenomenon. Suddenly, everyone wanted to look at the sky. Skygaze India hosted events at their small site, and they were all house-full successes. Premium clients started booking them for private home observations across the city. The gamble was paying off.
However, when the planetary buzz died down, the market went quiet again. This led to the next evolution. Realizing they needed to create a market, not just serve one, they pivoted to education. To scale up and secure larger clients like schools and corporates, they needed a professional-grade telescope—an expense that was terrifyingly out of reach. Harsh stood at another crossroads and made a risky bet: he procured a high-powered telescope entirely on credit, banking on a vision that others couldn't see.
Today, that leap of faith has been validated. Aardo Solutions is a robust tech firm powering institutions with its innovative software, and Skygaze India is a leading name in astronomy outreach, collaborating with schools and national events to bring the cosmos closer to thousands.
