These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of www.indianewsgrid.com and every service offered on it. India News Grid is owned and operated by BEE Enterprises, a sole proprietorship based in East of Kailash, New Delhi 110065 (“India News Grid”, “we”, “us” or “our”). “You” means any person or organisation that visits the website, registers an account or submits content.

By using the website, registering or submitting content, you agree to these Terms. If you act for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf.

1. About India News Grid

1.1 India News Grid is a digital news and publishing platform. It publishes news, articles, sponsored content, press releases, founder and brand stories and upcoming events submitted by individuals and organisations, and offers partnership plans for regular publishing.

1.2 India News Grid publishes content as submitted. It does not fact-check, verify or endorse the claims made in submitted content. Publication on India News Grid is not a certification, verification or recommendation of any person, organisation, product or service.

1.3 India News Grid is not a law firm, regulator, auditor, financial adviser or verification service.

2. Eligibility and accounts

2.1 To submit content you must register an account as an individual or an organisation and verify your email ID. Organisations register with an official email ID.

2.2 You must be at least 18 years old to register on your own. Students aged 13 to 17 may take part only through the Young Journalist Program, with a signed parent or guardian consent and indemnity form verified by us.

2.3 Every account holder must complete the applicable indemnity form during registration: the individual indemnity form or the organisation indemnity form.

2.4 The information you give us must be accurate and kept up to date. We may ask for proof of identity, business details, registration (for example, for NGOs) or authority to act for an organisation.

2.5 You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity on your account.

3. Our services

3.1 The services currently offered are:

3.2 The current prices, inclusions, word limits, image and link limits and timelines for each service are shown on that service’s page, or shared on request for plans. The page or rate card in force when you pay applies to your purchase. All prices are exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.

3.3 We may add, change or withdraw services, offers and prices at any time. Changes do not affect services you have already paid for.

4. The publishing check

4.1 Every submission goes through a publishing check before it is published. The check covers formatting, working links and SEO tags, and a basic compliance check against these Terms and the guidelines for that service.

4.2 India News Grid does not fact-check or edit your writing. We do not change the body of your content. During the publishing check we may adjust only the headline or the cover image, and may add standard formatting, SEO tags, structured data and link attributes (for example, marking links in sponsored content as sponsored).

4.3 If a submission needs changes, we return it to you with the changes required. You must send the revised version within 3 working days. If it is not received in that time, the submission is closed and, for paid services, the fee or credit is forfeited.

4.4 We will not publish content that falls into a prohibited category (section 6) or breaks these Terms or the service guidelines.

4.5 Publishing timelines shown on service pages are typical timelines, not guarantees.

5. Your content and your responsibilities

5.1 You are solely responsible for everything you submit, including its accuracy, legality, originality, permissions and disclosures, and for any consequences of its publication.

5.2 By submitting content, you confirm that:

• you wrote it, or have the right to submit it;
• it is accurate and not misleading;
• you have permission to use every image, logo, name, quote and third-party material in it;
• you have the consent of any person whose personal information appears in it;
• you have disclosed any material, financial or professional interest in what you write about;
• for content submitted for a client or another person, you have their approval to publish it.

5.3 Unique online. Content published on India News Grid must be original and must not be published word for word, or nearly so, on any other website or online platform, before or after it appears on India News Grid. This includes other news and press release websites, wire services, blogs, Medium, LinkedIn Articles and your own website. A substantially rewritten (paraphrased) version elsewhere is permitted, as is sharing the link to your India News Grid page and offline coverage such as print or radio.

5.4 Sponsored content must be submitted as sponsored or partner content. It is published with a “Sponsored” label. Content that promotes a business you are connected with, but is submitted as a regular article or news, will be returned for changes.

5.5 After publishing. Published content cannot be edited. To report a factual error, email [email protected] with the link and the correction.

6. Prohibited content

You must not submit content that:

• is false, misleading, unverifiable or deceptive;
• is defamatory, or attacks or disparages any person, brand or organisation;
• accuses anyone of a crime or wrongdoing without authoritative sourcing;
• concerns ongoing legal disputes;
• is party-political allegation or political campaign material;
• promotes investment tips, guaranteed returns or unregulated financial schemes;
• makes unsupported medical or health-treatment claims;
• relates to gambling, betting, adult content, or illegal products and services;
• promotes hatred, discrimination or violence against any group;
• infringes copyright, trademarks or any other rights;
• is plagiarised or substantially copied;
• contains paid links or commercial relationships that are not disclosed;
• breaks any law in force in India.

Content in a prohibited category will not be published, and the fee or credit paid for it is not refundable.

7. Ownership and licence

7.1 You keep the copyright in content you write. By submitting it, you give India News Grid a free, worldwide, non-exclusive, ongoing licence to format, publish, display, archive and promote it on the website, newsletters and social media channels, with your byline.

7.2 India News Grid owns the website, its design, layout, logo and branding, and the formatting, SEO tags, structured data and page structure around your content.

7.3 For Young Journalist Program participants under 18, the parent or guardian grants this licence through the consent and indemnity form.

7.4 You may not use the India News Grid name or logo without our permission, except as allowed under an Event Media Partner or Digital Media Partner arrangement (sections 10 and 11).

8. Fees, payment and refunds

8.1 Paid services must be paid in full before you submit content, or at onboarding for plans. Payment can be made through our payment gateway, by bank transfer, or by depositing a cheque in India News Grid’s account. Your invoice is shared within 1–2 working days of payment.

8.2 Fees are not refundable where:

• the content falls into a prohibited category;
• requested changes are not sent within 3 working days;
• the content has been published.

8.3 Any other refund request is considered case by case and is at India News Grid’s discretion, except where Indian law requires otherwise.

8.4 Inaugural and promotional prices apply only while they are shown on the service page or offered in writing.

9. Free services

9.1 News and upcoming events are free for everyone with a verified account and follow the guidelines on their pages. News must be factual, public-interest reporting that is not about yourself or your own organisation. Upcoming events must be listed by, or with the authority of, the organiser.

9.2 Young Journalist Program participation is voluntary, remote and unpaid. It is not employment, an internship or a course. Its own guidelines apply.

9.3 India News Grid does not pay contributors for any content.

10. Event Media Partner

10.1 An Event Media Partnership includes the items shown on the Event Media Partner page at the time of purchase.

10.2 As the event organiser, you must:

• add the India News Grid logo as “Media Partner” on all print and digital collaterals for the event;
• announce the partnership on your social media pages and tag India News Grid’s official social media pages;
• use the logo files we provide without altering them, and only for the partnered event.

10.3 The right to use the India News Grid logo ends when the event ends, except on material already published about that event.

11. Digital Media Partner and Agency Plan

11.1 Plans run for 6 or 12 months and are paid once, upfront, at onboarding.

11.2 The monthly allowance or credits for each plan are set out on its page or rate card. Unused allowance or credits carry forward month to month and lapse when the plan ends. They have no cash value and cannot be transferred.

11.3 Digital Media Partners may describe India News Grid as their “Digital Media Partner” for the duration of their plan.

11.4 Agencies on the Agency Plan:

• submit only content their client has approved for publication;
• are responsible for all content they submit for clients, under the agency’s indemnity;
• do not need their clients to register, but must provide client details if we ask.

11.5 Extra credits, where offered, are paid before use.

12. Publishing Partner Program

Publishing Partners are independent and are not employees, agents or representatives of India News Grid. They cannot make commitments on India News Grid’s behalf. The Publishing Partner Program is governed by the separate Publishing Partner Terms.

13. No guarantee of results

India News Grid does not guarantee publication timelines, search ranking, placement in search engines or AI tools, AI citations, traffic, readership, registrations, attendance, media pickup, investment or any other business outcome. Results vary.

14. Permanent pages and removal

14.1 Published content stays online on a permanent URL unless it is removed.

14.2 India News Grid may remove content, without refund, if:

• a complaint about it is upheld;
• a valid legal notice, court order or takedown request is received;
• it breaks these Terms or the service guidelines;
• the law requires it.

14.3 You may ask for your content to be removed for a valid reason, such as personal safety, by emailing [email protected]. Removal is at India News Grid’s discretion.

15. Acceptable use of the website

You must not:

• impersonate any person or organisation;
• scrape, copy or republish the website’s content in bulk without permission;
• send spam or unsolicited messages through the website;
• upload malware or interfere with the website’s security or operation;
• use the website for anything unlawful.

16. Third-party links

Content may contain links to third-party websites. India News Grid is not responsible for those websites, their content or their practices.

17. Privacy

Personal data is handled in line with our Privacy Policy and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. If your content includes another person’s personal information, you must have a lawful basis and their consent to share it.

18. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless India News Grid, BEE Enterprises and its proprietor, team and partners against any claim, loss, damage, penalty or cost (including legal fees) arising from:

• content you submit;
• your breach of these Terms or any service guidelines;
• your breach of any law or of anyone’s rights.

This applies in addition to the indemnity form you complete at registration.

19. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

19.1 The website and services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, availability or fitness for a purpose.

19.2 India News Grid is not liable for content submitted by users, or for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including loss of profit, business, reputation or data.

19.3 Where liability cannot be excluded by law, India News Grid’s total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service concerned, or ₹1,000, whichever is lower.

20. Suspension and termination

India News Grid may suspend or close an account, or stop providing a service, at any time if these Terms are broken, if there is a legal or reputational risk, or if the account is misused. Fees already paid are not refunded in these cases. Sections 5, 7, 8, 14, 18, 19 and 21 continue to apply after an account is closed.

21. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at New Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, subject to any consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.

22. Changes to these Terms

India News Grid may update these Terms by publishing a new version on this page with a new effective date. Changes apply from that date. Continuing to use the website or services means you accept the updated Terms.

23. Complaints and contact

For complaints, takedown requests, legal notices or questions about these Terms, email [email protected] with:

• your name and contact details;
• the link to the content concerned;
• the reason for your complaint, with supporting documents;
• proof of authority if you act for someone else.

Download the form, complete and sign it, and upload it when you register. The form is addressed to BEE Enterprises (India News Grid), East of Kailash, New Delhi 110065, and confirms that you accept these Terms and take responsibility for the content you submit.
