2.1 India News Grid appoints the Partner as a non-exclusive Publishing Partner. India News Grid may appoint other partners and sell Packages directly.

2.2 The Partner is an independent contractor. Nothing in these Terms creates employment, partnership, joint venture or agency.

2.3 The Partner has no authority to bind India News Grid, make promises on its behalf, or accept payment for it.

2.4 The Partner bears their own costs, including travel, tools, communication and taxes on their income.

3. Introducing clients

3.1 Introduction. To be credited for a Client, the Partner must send an Introduction before the Client registers. It must give the Client’s name or organisation, official email ID, phone and the Package required. India News Grid will link the Client to the Partner and share the payment invoice, usually within 1–2 Working Days.

3.2 First introduction stands. If more than one partner introduces the same Client, the Introduction received first is credited. A Client that registered, or was already a client of India News Grid, before the Introduction is not credited. An Introduction lapses if the Client does not register within 10 days of it; the Partner may send a fresh Introduction if no other partner has introduced that Client in the meantime.

3.3 Consent. The Partner may introduce a Client and share their details only with that Client’s consent.

3.4 Registration. Every Client must register on India News Grid as an Individual or Organisation, verify its official email ID, and upload the signed Individual or Organisation Indemnity Form. Either:

  • Route A: the Client registers itself; or
  • Route B: the Partner registers the Client on its behalf, using the Client’s details and official email ID, with the Client’s authority. The Client must confirm the verification sent to that email ID.

3.5 Submission. Under Route A the Client submits content. Under Route B the Partner or the Client may submit, but the Partner submits only content the Client has approved.

3.6 India News Grid may decline any Client or Introduction at its discretion, including where verification is incomplete.

4. Payment, publishing check and revisions

4.1 Clients pay India News Grid directly, in full, by payment gateway, bank transfer, or a cheque the Client deposits directly into India News Grid’s bank account, against India News Grid’s invoice. India News Grid does not collect cheques. The Partner must not collect, hold or receive any Package fee.

4.2 Payment before submission. Content may be submitted only after registration, verification and cleared payment.

4.3 Publishing Check. India News Grid runs the Publishing Check, usually within 1–2 Working Days of submission. India News Grid does not fact-check or edit the content. Where needed to meet publishing standards, it may update the cover image or headline; any changes are limited to these.

4.4 Revisions. Content needing changes is returned with a note. The revised version must be resubmitted within 3 Working Days of the request. If it is not, the order lapses and the fee is forfeited.

4.5 Fees are non-refundable once paid.

4.6 Prohibited content. India News Grid will not publish:

  • political party, candidate or campaign content;
  • medical cure or treatment claims (healthcare organisations may publish company news);

  • content making allegations against, or targeting, a named individual;
  • plagiarised content, or content already published elsewhere online;
  • anything unlawful or that infringes another person’s rights.

Content in a prohibited category will not be published, and the fee is not refundable.

4.7 Publication. Published Partner Content has a permanent URL, is labelled “Partner Content”, has its links marked as sponsored, and is shared on India News Grid’s social media and newsletter. Published pages are not edited after publication. A page may be removed after an upheld complaint or a compliance issue.

5. Commission and payouts

5.5 Tax. India News Grid deducts TDS as applicable under the Income Tax Act, 1961 and issues TDS certificates. The Partner must provide a valid PAN, and a GSTIN if registered; where the Partner is GST-registered, it issues a valid tax invoice for its commission and GST is added as applicable.

5.6 Adjustments. If a Client payment is reversed or charged back after commission is credited, India News Grid may deduct that commission from future payouts.

5.7 Statements. On request, India News Grid will share a statement of Clients credited, fees received and commission due. Disputes about a payout must be raised within 30 days of it.

  8. comply with applicable law, including advertising, consumer protection, data protection and tax law.

6.2 Name and logo. The Partner may use the India News Grid name and logo only to describe their status as a Publishing Partner, in the form India News Grid approves. The Partner may not register domains, social handles or ads using the India News Grid name.

6.3 Confidentiality. The Partner will keep the rate card, Client lists shared by India News Grid and any non-public information confidential, while these Terms are in force and for 2 years after they end.

6.4 Personal data. Each party will handle personal data received from the other (including Client details, PAN and bank details) only for the purposes of these Terms, keep it secure, and comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its rules. The Partner confirms it has the Client’s consent before sharing Client data. India News Grid handles personal data as set out in its Privacy Policy.

7. Content responsibility, indemnity and liability

7.1 Warranties. For content the Partner prepares or submits, the Partner confirms it is original, accurate to the best of their knowledge, approved by the Client, exclusive online to India News Grid, free of prohibited content, and does not infringe any person’s rights or break any law.

7.2 Responsibility. Responsibility for Partner Content rests with the Partner (under these Terms) and the Client (under its signed indemnity form). India News Grid does not verify facts, claims or permissions.

7.3 Indemnity. The Partner will indemnify BEE Enterprises and India News Grid against losses, claims, penalties and reasonable legal costs arising from: (a) content the Partner prepared or submitted; (b) the Partner’s breach of these Terms; (c) the Partner’s dealings with Clients, including their own services and any promise made to a Client; and (d) the Partner’s breach of law.

7.4 Complaints and removal. If India News Grid receives a complaint about Partner Content, it may suspend the page while it reviews. If the complaint is upheld, or the content breaks these Terms or the law, India News Grid will remove it. The Partner will cooperate and share relevant information promptly. No fee or commission is refunded or paid back because of a removal.

7.5 Limitation of liability. India News Grid is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profit or business. Its total liability under these Terms is limited to the commission paid to the Partner in the 6 months before the claim.

7.6 India News Grid does not guarantee search rankings, traffic, indexing or any business result for any Client or Partner.

8. Term and termination

8.1 These Terms start when India News Grid confirms the Partner’s approval by email and continue until ended under this clause.

8.2 Either party may end these Terms at any time, for any reason, by email.

8.3 India News Grid may end these Terms immediately by email if the Partner breaches clause 6 or 7, misrepresents themselves or India News Grid, collects fees on India News Grid’s behalf, or acts fraudulently or unlawfully.

8.4 Effect of ending. Commission already earned on Packages paid before the end date is paid at the next payout, even if below ₹5,000. No commission is earned on Packages or renewals paid after the end date. On termination under clause 8.3, India News Grid may withhold commission connected with the breach. Clauses 5.6, 6.3, 6.4, 7 and 9 continue after these Terms end.

9. General

9.1 Changes. India News Grid may update the rate card, Program Page or these Terms at any time. Updates apply from the date they are published on the Program Page or emailed to the Partner, and to Packages paid after that date. Continuing as a Partner after an update means the Partner accepts it. If the Partner does not agree, they may end these Terms under clause 8.2.

9.2 Notices are given by email: to India News Grid at [email protected], and to the Partner at their verified email.

9.3 Entire agreement. These Terms, their Schedules and the Program Page form the whole agreement between the parties. If they conflict, these Terms prevail.
