Become an India News Grid Publishing Partner
Build a flexible freelance publishing practice by helping clients document genuine business and institutional stories.
The India News Grid Publishing Partner Program is open to writers, journalists, PR professionals, marketers, freelancers and agencies. Partners find their own clients, prepare original content and submit it for review. For each approved paid publication or package attributed to them, partners receive 50% of eligible net revenue.
This is a remote, non-exclusive pilot programme. Previous publishing experience and writing samples are not compulsory.

A freelance writing and side income opportunity
The programme can provide an additional income stream for people who already write, manage communications or work with business clients. Partners choose the clients, sectors and volume of work they want to handle. India News Grid does not impose a fixed client target or guarantee assignments, leads or earnings.
Partners work as independent professional consultants. The programme does not create employment, an agency relationship or authority to make commitments on behalf of India News Grid.
How the programme works
- 1Register with India News Grid and provide accurate identity, contact, tax and payment information.
- 2Complete the Publishing Partner Agreement before receiving programme access or introducing a paying client.
- 3Find and manage your own clients. India News Grid does not supply client leads.
- 4Prepare original content, collect supporting proof and obtain the client’s written approval.
- 5Submit the content for an initial eligibility and policy review.
- 6The client must complete full payment before India News Grid grants final approval or publishes the content.
- 7After payment clears, India News Grid completes its final review. It may approve, return or reject the submission.
- 8Approved content receives a dedicated public page and the partner’s share is credited to the programme balance.
Payment before approval and publication
India News Grid will not grant final approval or publish paid content until it has received and cleared the complete client payment. An initial review may identify eligibility or required changes, but it does not constitute final approval. Payment also does not guarantee publication. If the final submission fails editorial, legal or platform requirements, India News Grid may return or reject it under the applicable agreement and payment terms.
How partner earnings are calculated
Partners receive 50% of eligible net revenue from each approved paid publication or package attributed to them.
Eligible net revenue means the amount India News Grid receives and retains after GST, approved discounts, payment-gateway charges, refunds, chargebacks, payment reversals and other agreed or legally required adjustments.
India News Grid onboards partners as independent professional consultants. TDS and other statutory deductions apply to partner payments at the prevailing rate and threshold under applicable income-tax rules.
A partner payout becomes eligible for release when the cleared balance reaches INR 5,000, subject to verification, complete tax information and the absence of an active dispute. Commercial rates and package details are available on request.

Original and online exclusive content
Every submission must be original and exclusive to India News Grid for online publication.
The same article, press release, story or substantially identical written version must not appear on another website, Medium, LinkedIn Articles, a personal blog or another digital publishing platform. Related information may appear in traditional print, radio or another offline format, but the written version submitted to India News Grid must remain unique online. A later online version may be considered only when it is substantially rewritten and permitted under the partner agreement.
Bylines
Subject to accurate attribution and approval, a publication may use the individual writer's name, the agency's name, the client organisation's name or another authorised contributor's name. The named person or organisation must approve the final submission.
Partner responsibility
Partners must fact-check their work and secure authority to publish every name, quotation, image, logo, trademark, link and item of personal or confidential information. The partner and responsible contributor retain liability for the content. India News Grid's review does not transfer that responsibility to the platform.
India News Grid may reject or remove plagiarism, fabricated evidence, defamatory material, misleading promotion, undisclosed paid relationships or content that creates an editorial, legal, safety or reputational concern.
