Why promote your event on India News Grid?

Found when people search for your event

People search for an event's name, dates and venue before they register. A listing and a news page give them clear answers in one place.

Already cited by Google's AI Overview

A press release on India News Grid about the VIPS-TC & DSB Annual Fest was cited as a source in Google's AI Overview when people searched for who performed at the fest.

Coverage after the event

A post-event release keeps your event visible after the day, for sponsors, past attendees and next year's audience.

Links for sponsors and partners

Share published coverage in sponsor reports, proposals and next year's pitch.

India News Grid does not guarantee search ranking, AI citations, traffic or placement. Results vary.

When to publish

  1. Event listing: as soon as dates and venue are confirmed, ideally 4–6 weeks before the event.
  2. Pre-event press release: 2–3 weeks before, when speakers, artists or sponsors are confirmed.
  3. Post-event press release: within a week after the event, while photos and results are fresh.

What a good event press release includes

  1. A headline with the news: the event, the organiser and the date.
  2. A dateline: city and date.
  3. A first paragraph answering who, what, when, where and why.
  4. Key details: venue, dates, timings, registration or ticket link, and who can attend.
  5. Names: speakers, chief guests, artists, sponsors and partners, with their permission.
  6. One quote from the organiser, convenor or chief guest.
  7. Up to 3 images, an "About" paragraph on the organiser, and a media contact.
Example headlines
  • "[Organiser] announces [event] 2026 in [city] on [dates]"
  • "[Artist] to headline [fest name] at [institution] on [date]"
  • "[Event] 2026 concludes with [number] participants and [highlight]"
