Who can add an upcoming event
Anyone with a registered, verified India News Grid account who is organising the event or is authorised by its organiser:
Organisations: companies, institutions, colleges, schools, associations, NGOs, communities and event organisers. Register as an organisation with your official email ID.
Individuals: independent organisers, trainers, speakers, podcasters, creators and community hosts. Register as an individual with your email ID.
College fests, summits and institutional events must be added by the organising body, or by someone it has authorised, using an official email ID.
How it works
- Create your account. Register as an organisation or an individual and verify your email ID.
- Complete the indemnity form during registration. It confirms that you take responsibility for the event details you submit.
- Submit your upcoming event from your dashboard with the details below. There is no fee.
- Publishing check. We check formatting, working links and the event details, and run a basic compliance check. India News Grid does not verify event details or edit your description.
- Live. Your upcoming event usually goes live within 1–2 working days. We email you the link.
What to include
Required
- Event name
- Date and start time (and end date and time for multi-day events), in IST
- Format: in person, online or hybrid
- Venue: full address with city, or the joining platform for online events and podcasts
- Organiser: name of the organising body or person
- Description: what the event is, who it is for and what attendees will get, up to 1,500 words
- Registration link or how to register
- Fee: free, or the ticket price
- Contact: a name, email or phone number for attendee enquiries
- Event image: a poster or banner, up to 3 images in total, that you own or are authorised to use
Optional
- Speakers, guests, hosts or judges, with their roles
- Agenda or schedule
- Partners and sponsors
- Eligibility, such as students only or by invitation
Guidelines
- Accuracy: check the date, time, venue and registration link before you submit. You are responsible for the accuracy of your upcoming event details.
- Upcoming events only: add events that have not yet taken place. To publish what happened at a past event, use Submit Press Release.
- Informative tone: describe the event clearly and factually. Avoid hype, excessive capital letters and exclamation marks.
- Images: use high-quality posters and speaker photos that you own or are cleared to use.
- Links: up to 3 links, including the registration link.
- Changes after publishing: if your event is postponed, cancelled or moved online, email [email protected] with the link so the page can be marked accordingly.
- events that are misleading, or where the date, venue or organiser cannot be identified;
- multi-level marketing, "get rich quick" or unregulated investment seminars;
- gambling, betting, adult or illegal events;
- political rallies or campaign events;
- events that promote hatred, discrimination or violence against any group;
- submissions that use images or names without permission.
