India can seal New Zealand ODI series with win in Hamilton on November 10
India will look to secure the five-match ODI series against New Zealand when the teams meet at Seddon Park, Hamilton, on Tuesday, November 10.
The visitors hold a 2–0 lead. According to the International Cricket Council (ICC), India won the opening match in Auckland by five wickets under the Duckworth–Lewis–Stern method. They followed it with a rain-affected, four-run win in Wellington on November 7.
One more victory would put India 3–0 ahead and settle the series before the final two matches. New Zealand need a win in Hamilton to keep the contest alive.
India captain Shubman Gill said after the Wellington match that his side lost more wickets than it should have during the chase. India had bowled New Zealand out for 134, but rain ended the reply with India only narrowly ahead on the DLS calculation, according to the ICC match report.
The ICC fixture lists the third ODI for 7:30 am IST on Tuesday. The remaining matches are scheduled for November 13 and 15 in Mount Maunganui.
