Diwali 2026 will be celebrated in Canada on Sunday, 8 November 2026. Lakshmi Puja timings must be calculated locally because Toronto and Vancouver have different time zones, sunset times and Pradosh Kaal periods.

Diwali 2026 Lakshmi Puja timings in Canada:

Toronto: 5:17 PM to 7:03 PM local time
Vancouver: 5:55 PM to 7:36 PM local time

These timings are specifically for Toronto and Vancouver. Residents of Brampton, Mississauga, Ottawa, Montreal, Calgary, Edmonton or another city should use a Panchang calculated for their exact location. A timing has not been included for those cities because it has not been independently verified.

Diwali may be observed through home puja, temple visits and local community celebrations. Public programmes can have separate dates, registration requirements and entry conditions. Check these details directly with the organiser.
